These public prices were checked in US dollars on August 31, 2026. Each fixed-data row compares the same allowance and validity.

The smallest plans cost the same. Atli is cheaper on the other seven rows, with the largest difference at $7 for the US 10 GB and 20 GB plans.

The unlimited comparison needs an extra line of explanation. Saily’s current USA plan provides 5 GB each day without a speed limit, then continues at up to 1 Mbps. The allowance resets daily. Atli’s unlimited terms can vary with the destination and local network, so confirm the high-speed conditions for the plan offered in the chat.

Current Saily prices are available on its official USA and Turkey pages. Prices can change, so compare the checkout total before buying. If you do not know whether a fixed allowance is enough, the guide to how much data you need for a trip gives estimates for maps, messaging, video and hotspot use.

The Saily app and Atli chat

Saily uses a conventional website-and-app system. You can buy a plan on the website, but Saily’s standard instructions send you to the app for installation and management. The app displays active plans, lets you add another destination and controls the security features.

Atli handles purchase, delivery and support inside WhatsApp and Telegram rather than a separate app or account.

The difference is mostly preference. Saily’s app provides a purpose-built dashboard. Atli avoids adding another travel app to the phone and keeps support beside the original purchase.

Install either eSIM before travel while you have reliable WiFi. First confirm that the phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. When you arrive, turn on the travel eSIM, select it for mobile data and enable data roaming for that line.

Saily says its plans normally activate when the eSIM connects at the destination, or automatically after the 180-day activation window. Its Turkey page warns that access to the Saily app may be limited in the country, so Turkey customers should finish setup before leaving home.

One eSIM for later trips

Atli and Saily both avoid a pile of one-trip profiles.

With Atli, the eSIM profile does not expire when the data plan ends. Keep it installed. A later plan is added to the same profile automatically after purchase in WhatsApp or Telegram.

Saily also lets customers use one profile for supported destinations. Buy another data plan through the app and add it to the existing Saily eSIM. Saily accounts can hold additional eSIMs when another device or traveller needs a separate profile.

This is a draw for a solo traveller using one phone. Atli keeps the process in a chat; Saily keeps it in the app.

Security features

Saily includes three unusual tools in its eSIM app:

  • The ad blocker uses DNS filtering to block many third-party ads. It cannot remove ads served from the same domain as the website.
  • Web protection blocks known malicious domains and limits some trackers. It does not inspect dangerous attachments or threats served from an otherwise trusted domain.
  • Virtual location routes the connection through a chosen location. Saily currently advertises more than 115 options.

These controls are useful on a trip, especially if you already prefer network-level filtering. They are not a full replacement for cautious browsing or device security. The app is required to switch them on.

Atli supplies the data connection without a bundled ad blocker, threat filter or virtual-location control. If those tools matter, use separate software or choose Saily.

Phone numbers, calls and texts

Atli is data-only. On a dual-SIM phone, you can keep your primary SIM active for calls and texts while Atli handles mobile data. Turn off data roaming on your primary SIM to avoid unintended roaming data charges. If your carrier supports roaming, verification texts can still arrive on your primary SIM. Messaging and internet calling apps like WhatsApp, Telegram and FaceTime work over the Atli data connection.

Saily’s travel data plans are also separate from its phone service, but Saily now sells an optional US number in the app. The number starts at $0.99 per month, with call and SMS plans sold separately. It supports local calls in covered destinations, not international calling, and does not support MMS or call forwarding.

That option is a clear Saily advantage if the travel eSIM itself needs a working number. Read the call and text plan before buying because the data plan alone does not include those services.

Your home SIM can remain active with either eSIM for its own number, calls and texts. Your home carrier may charge roaming fees, even when the travel eSIM handles mobile data.

Hotspot and regional coverage

Both services allow hotspot use without a separate hotspot fee. Saily’s current USA and Turkey pages state that hotspot has no separate restriction. Data shared by hotspot still counts against the fixed allowance or the daily high-speed allowance on an unlimited plan.

Atli hotspot use comes from the purchased plan. A laptop can use several gigabytes quickly through video calls, software updates and cloud syncing. The travel eSIM hotspot guide covers the settings and the common sources of heavy use.

For Europe, Saily’s regional plan covers 35 countries. Atli covers 34. The lists are not identical: Saily includes Gibraltar and San Marino, while Atli includes Ukraine. Both include Turkey and the United Kingdom. Check the actual route before comparing price. The regional eSIM guide explains how to check a multi-country plan.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Atli when price is the main consideration and its coverage fits the trip. The matched 1 GB plans cost the same, but Atli is cheaper on every larger USA and Turkey plan above. It also suits anyone who would rather buy and get support through WhatsApp or Telegram.

Choose Saily when the security controls or optional US phone number are useful enough to justify the higher plan price. Its app also suits travellers who want a dedicated dashboard rather than a chat.

Both are sensible for repeat trips because one installed eSIM can accept later plans. The decision is therefore less about installation and more about price, interface and extras.
